Love Wins

This picture is probably my favorite of me with my favorite date of 35 years (31 of those married).  Never ones to “go clubbing,” weddings are the only time we get a chance to get out on a dance floor.  We were having so much fun at our dear friends’ daughter’s wedding that we did not know this picture was taken until weeks later.

So here we are… in all our messiness.  My carefully coiffed hair now a stringy mop.  My husband’s dress shirt damp with sweat in the summer heat.  

This is us!  This is love!

And this… this is what compels me to write about the power love has to transform our world.
